Description
Wenta is one of England's largest enterprise agencies. We're an independent, not-for-profit, social enterprise that exists to make it easier and greener to start and run a successful business.
We've been supporting business owners for over 40 years, helping all types of businesses from dog walkers to doughnut makers, drivers to divers. To date, we’ve supported over 117,000 people to start-up, maintain or grow their own business.
Between 2022-2023 Wenta has helped over 24,119 people to up-skill in business know-how through our combined digital and face-to-face services. Over the last year, we've helped 607 new businesses to start-up, delivered 3,534 one-to-one advice sessions, helped businesses to create 614 new jobs and delivered 43,622 hours of support.
Whilst Wenta is an independent organisation with absolutely zero shareholders, we're also trusted and experienced in delivering Government business support service contracts. To date, Wenta has worked on a wide range of contracts with LEPs, local authorities, chambers, DWP and employability organisations such as Shaw Trust and Maximus.
